The Biggest Fight- pt. IV

24 12 2009

The world martial arts tournament quarterfinals continue with the fight between Yancha and Jackie Chun. Everyone was imagining that the second round winner would be Yancha, but he was noticing something strange with his opponent. Without a fight stance, full of openings, Yancha couldn’t fell any fighting spirit from him, concluding that Jackie was very confidence. Yancha reminds that the old man did seem to get through his battles in the preliminaries rather quickly. The old desert bandit prepares to test his opponent, making the first strike and seeing what Jackie really got.

Yancha tries to hit Jackie with a freighting speed attack, but Chun dodged every single strike with little trouble. Chun tells Yancha that he appears to have lots of experience with real battles, but there were still a lot of excess movements in his attacks. Yancha gets mad and tries another strike, but the old man dodges again.

Then Yancha tries the Rogafufuken, his best technique, however Jackie dodges again, jumping to the other side of the ring.

Jackie offers Yancha a “soft wind” as a present, joining his palms, concentrating his ki to transform the binding energy in a super wind.

With only a palm movement that caused the strong current of wind, Jackie throws Yancha out of the ring. Chan wins the battle without even soiling his hands!

With the end of the second match of the quarterfinals, the third fight begins, between Nam and Ranfan, so don’t miss the next post!
